Sodium Molybdate
Sodium molybdate (Na2MoO4) is a white salt that provides molybdenum, a vital nutrient for plants and some animals. It comes in anhydrous (pure) or dihydrate (water-containing) forms. Beyond agriculture (fertilizers, animal feed), sodium molybdate finds uses in corrosion inhibition, fire retardants, and pigment production. Caution: Handle responsibly as it can be toxic in high doses.
